Yes. SLCDAW is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and you get a receipt for every gift.
Do I have to be Sierra Leonean to join?
No. Anyone in the Pacific Northwest who shares our goals is welcome as a member.
How do you choose where wells are built?
Communities in Sierra Leone request support, a local contact checks the need, and members approve the project.
Can I give a used laptop?
Yes, if it is under four years old and working. See give goods and supplies.
